First off, they should stop calling this a balm because it's not balming whatsoever. I purchased it because I haven't previously tried anything from The Ordinary that didn't work, until this. Inaccessible packaging, irritated my lips
Unfortunately, as a disabled person who struggles with strength in my fingers, I had a hard time getting any product out. I did use this for a day, and unfortunately, it irritated my lips and broke me out by my upper lip. I'm sure this would work for someone, but it didn't work for me.
I would buy this again
This product doesn't have a shine to it or anything but I still do like it. It's pretty nourishing on the lip but you have to use a decent amount. I would compare this to a better version of Vaseline or something for the lip.
Actually worked for me
Being older and having dryer lips now, I have tried just about everything for dry lips. I decided to try this product and I don't know if it has a different ingredient than the Paula's choice brand or the Roc or Burt's bees or any of the other raft of products, but using it for a couple days, I can feel that all the dry flaky feeling is gone. They might be dry, but I don't feel the hard flakes that if you try to bite them off they are so attached you would bleed. It's that type of sensation. That is what's gone. This stuff is at least really great for me. If it gets to where there is some in the package that I can't retrieve when it gets low, I will cut the top nozzle off and scrape it all out into a different little container or something. I'm going to keep buying this product.

doesnt hydrate, feels like skincare for lips but doesn't work. i can apply every hour and my lips feel more dry
