I have an Italian scowl and at 60 years old, I thought I'd try this little stick... It did help a bit and so I tried it on a few more fine lines around my smile on my cheeks. But then began to notice dark ugly lines wherever I applied this stuff... No bueno! Stopped using and the ugly darkness left the building... God is all I need, not this stuff!

This is very moisturizing and soft. I can even use it on my lips. It acts slow and securely. It would be too much for oily skin.
Great product
Yall, if you are not giving this product 6 months to work then you are definitely gonna be disappointed because ALL retinol products need time.. a lot of time. It doesn't work in 2 weeks so don't expect it too.. If someone says they saw great results in 2 weeks its not the retinol it is the fact that they had dryer skin and started using this and the higher moisture content made a difference.. I have been using this for a year regularly and it definitely has made a difference. Young people want to apply it a few times and if they don't see quick results they automatically say oh no, this doesn't do anything for me!! It will… give it time.

I use this balm at the end of my skin care routine to really hyper focus on problem areas like my 11s, forehead wrinkles, and the find lines on the sides of cheeks by my mouth. It seems to work ok but I got it in December for Christmas and I'm already out by the time I wrote this on February 5th. I only use it 1x a day and don't go ham with it so having it only last about a month is a disappointment. It's also not long enough to really tell if it's beneficial. I might switch to a different brand/balm but keep some of my other Clinique staples in rotation.
Multitasking Product
I love this balm because it can be used not just for the face but also for the lips. I buy several and keep one in my purse so I can apply it on my lips and under my eyes during the winter to help hydrate throughout the day. It isn't greasy at all so it doesn't interfere with my makeup. It is just this great hidden gem that I won't ever be without!
