This highlighter gave me high expectations since it is a MAC product but it fell short. I'll start with what I liked. I liked the fact that that the design of the bottle makes it effortless to apply the product, the color is gorgeous and the highlighter is easily blendable. On the other side, I did not like the formula since it leaves an almost invisible finish with no pigmentation whatsoever. I have to reapply multiple times to even see that it's there and all I see are the tiny sparkles, not the beautiful soft pink color shown in the bottle. Would be great if the formula gets improved. This highlighter is now a staple in my everyday makeup routine. I prefer a natural finish but I also love to glow, and this product is the perfect middle ground. I also have very fussy skin that is prone to breakouts of closed comedones, which has been a problem I've consistently encountered while trying different skin and cheek products. Thankfully, this highlighter gives me the glow I crave without upsetting my skin.

I received this product for free from MAC Cosmetics for testing and review purposes. I try a-lot of different highlighter products and this is my first time trying this product and brand! I received Skinfinish Lightstruck Liquid Highlighter in the shade (Glacial) which is a stunning shimmery Iridescent blue that looks beautiful in the light! You do not need alot of this product a little bit goes a long way that is layer-able if you need to apply more ! This high quality highlighter has a nice liquid texture that blended into my skin flawlessly creating a glass like finish that lasts long. I like that this highlighter also has beneficial skin ingredients like glycerin, squalane, and skin-conditioning coffee seed extract that smoothed/plumped my pskin! I like dabbing/blending just a tiny amount of the highlighter on my cheekbones and my nose. The Glacial shade is beautiful, sheer, and shimmery but still natural looking blending in nicely into my skin! The Skinfinish Lightstruck Liquid Highlighter gives an ultra glam look that highlight your facial features without over doing it!
