I'm 55 with combo skin, blackheads on nose, crows feet and deep wrinkles around my mouth/chin (like smokers have but I'm not a smoker). What regimen can I start to lessen the wrinkles, blackheads and sunspots and get very pretty skin? Ive been using the No 7 line for months with no results, sadly.

Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand Engage
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. To address your concerns of wrinkles, blackheads, and sunspots, here are some Dermalogica products and treatments to consider incorporating into your regimen: Liquid Peelfoliant: A daily peel that smooths the appearance of fine lines while helping to minimize pores and even skin tone. You can use this by massaging it evenly onto dry, cleansed skin, leaving it on for 1-3 minutes before rinsing. It’s recommended to start with every other day and build up to daily use. Learn more here. PowerBright Dark Spot Serum: This serum is designed to fade dark spots and brighten skin. For best results, use it in the morning before applying your moisturizer and sunscreen. You can find more information here. PowerBright Overnight Cream: This nourishing nighttime cream helps restore luminosity and fades dark spots while you sleep. It’s best used as the last step in your nighttime skincare routine. Check it out here. Skin Resurfacing Cleanser: A dual-action exfoliating cleanser that retexturizes aging skin while providing deep cleansing. This can help in removing dulling surface debris and promote smoother skin. Learn more about it here. Multivitamin Thermafoliant: An exfoliator that improves skin texture and helps reduce signs of aging. Apply it to damp skin and massage in for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. You can find more information here. In conjunction with these products, consider scheduling professional treatments like the Age Reversal Peel or the Advanced Renewal Peel for more targeted results on fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. These are available through professional settings. Always remember to follow your regimen with a good moisturizer and SPF to protect your skin, especially when using products with exfoliating properties. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Can you use this with tretinion (retinol)?
Asked by Ashley
Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand Engage
Hello, thank you for contacting Dermalogica. We recommend using Skin Resurfacing Cleanser alternate days from retinol as this cleanser is a highly-active, two-in-one cleanser and exfoliant. Lactic Acid concentrate, an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), helps retexturize skin showing signs of aging. Best Wishes, The Dermalogica TeamWas this answer helpful to you
Q
I have very oily skin with occasional breakouts and large clogged pores. I mainly breakout around nose and on my cheeks. I have uneven skin tone and problems shedding off dead skin. My skin is sensitive to salicylate acid if % is too high in some products.Would the skin resurfacing cleanser or glycolic acid cleanser be best??
Asked by Brookie
Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand Engage
Hello, thank you for contacting Dermalogica. We recommend Daily Glycolic Cleanser as it does not contain Salicylic Acid. It features Glycolic Acid as its primary active ingredient, which helps to brighten and renew dull skin. Best Wishes, The Dermalogica TeamWas this answer helpful to you

THE Resurfacing Cleanser for sensitive skin!

Over the years I've tried just about every cleanser marketed for sensitive skin. Just because some of us have more sensitive skin than others doesn't mean we don't want radiant looking complexions too! Unlike others I've tried by other companies who tout their gentle yet effective cleansers, this on...

Better for older skin

I'm 27 and have oily skin and some fine lines. I thought this cleanser might help me after reading the reviews but it dried my skin out so bad even my lips and nose were chapped! I'm disappointed because I was really excited about it but when I saw my friend she said my skin looked super dull when i...

I'm 60 years old and have used thus cleanser for more than a decade. I have somewhat sensitive skin. This cleanser is pricey but goes a long way. I only use it at night. My skin is clean, not stripped, and prepped for serum and moisturizer before bed. I look much younger than my age and feel this cleanser has helped me keep my skin that way!

Made Skin flaky, red and itchy

I am in my early 50's and felt like I needed something more exfoliating and moisturizing in a face cleanser. I used this Skin Resurfacing product 10 years ago so thought I would try it again. This product is not for me any more! I used this 2 times a day for 2-3 days and my skin was itchy and red. I reduced to using once a day for another two days and my skin was flaky and still irritated. I don't dare use it again as it has only been about 5 days since I stopped. But my skin improved about a day or 2 after I stopped.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

The BEST anti-aging cleanser I've used this far!

I really love this cleanser because it exfoliates gently and effectively. My skin feels less congested and it's less dull. I noticed that I can go longer without getting facials compared to before when I didn't use this product. The only downside is the lack of makeup removal power. Due to its chemical profile, you can't use it to remove eye makeup, so I usually use Dermalogica Precleanse first. If you're worried about fine lines and dull skin, then look no further than this cleanser. You'll save money on facials and scrubs.
