Does it have heat protection?

- Official Answer By It's a 10 Haircare - Brand EngageThanks for reaching out! The Silk Express Miracle Leave-in does provide heat protection. It does vary based on your hair type. A lower temperature of 250-340°F works best for fine hair types. For normal, medium hair types, keep the temperature anywhere between 300-350°F. Hair Type Straight Hair
Blow dried my hair with this as heat protectant and returned it the same day. Made hair feel sticky and MORE tangled. Haven't tried the original version but I'm not going to.
Awful smell
I wanted to love this but the smell choked me so much I literally couldn't breathe. Heavy perfume powdery scent like an old lady. Yuck!!!
Silk press safe! But spray is intense-not a mist
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
Silk press friendly to provide hydration alongside a serum, did not cause my hair to revert. BUT-The spray is too intense, this is not a mist! Spray on hands to distribute. Avoid roots. Use sparingly. Then wrap/secure with silk/satin scarf.
So Soft!
I have color-treated, fine, wavy hair. I discovered It's a 10 Miracle Silk by accident last year. I had used the original It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In maybe 10 years ago. Then, I switched to CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray when I was going through a flat-ironing phase. (It's still great for that purpose!) When I started letting my hair dry naturally, I discovered that the CHI Thermal Pretection felt too heavy and sticky. I accidentally picked up the Miracle Silk Leaving-In thinking that I was buying the original. I was so pleasantly surprised. It's even better than the original! My hair feels soft and manageable without being weighted down. I highly recommend this product for people with fine hair.

My favorite go to leave in conditioner. Leaves my hair so soft and silky. A little spritz throughout my wet hair and tangles disappear. Smells great too. Highly recommend this product.
