Great Fragrance, Weak Silage. Too Bad.

I tried this cologne in the store, and was really excited to own a bottle. The scent seemed to last on my skin and I couldn't stop sniffing it. So I bought not only Shinjuku Mood, but another Blind Barber Fragrance. Big mistake! The bottle I got smells identical to the store tester, but the silage and longevity are a 0 out of 10. It dries down to only being a skin scent with no projection. The scent notes are spot on. It leads with black current and tea, with an undercurrent of leather. It reminds me of a Dolce & Gabbana scent from the 90's. I loved it. But the reason you purchase a fragrance is be able to smell it--and this one is weak. Both Blind Barber fragrances failed. As far as the review that indicated it is an old lady floral--I don't agree with that conclusion. It does not smell like grandma's purse or a funeral home.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Lovely Unisex Scent

I came across this while looking for tea-forward fragrances. This unisex smoky tea scent is great for everyday wear. It doesn't stick to my skin very well, but one spritz on my shirt lasts all day.

Not what I expected..

Unfortunately this leans very floral old lady. The Speakeasy scent is closer to what I was expecting this to be. Definitely not blind buy safe

One of the employees recommended this to me as her new favorite launch and I couldn't believe what I was smelling. As a tea perfume lover, this is by far my favorite tea scent that I smelt along with Nest Indigo. Not quite as fruity and citrusy as Nest Indigo. The scent opens up with the freshness of a tea shop. Then, the suede and birch tar hits to REALLY bring out the sweetness of the black and mate tea and lavender notes. It's so earthy and musky which I really enjoy because most tea scents are too clean for me. I wore it the rest of the day and I could still smell it on my pulse points after sleeping a whole night with it. As it wore, it became more mellow and smoky. Absolutely incredible and the best fragrance I have smelt this year. Super afforable price as well for a tea perfume in comparison to Liis Ethereal Wave or Le Labo Noir 29.
