Great Shampoo
I really like this current Shea Butter Shampoo. The old one before the vegan, clean, silicone free version came out used to be way too heavy and weigh down my hair, making it greasy looking. But this newer version is great. My hair really likes the proteins in this, too. Every once in a while, my hair will start to feel really straw-like and dry in the shower. That's when I know I have too much protein (protein overload), so I just clarify my hair with the Fekkai Apple Detox shampoo. It takes it back to normal. But I do still need the protein. Without it, my hair is really dull, limp, fine, frizzy, and prone to shedding AND breakage. But with protein in this shampoo, my hair is instantly shiny and strong feeling and looking. This shampoo also helps with the shedding. My hair feels much thicker, too. I've been using this to replace the previous Super Strength by Fekkai because the new one does not do much for my hair. I would love to have the old Super Strength back, but I will use this if I can't.
Sample got me Hooked!
I have fine frizz prone wavy hair and got a Fekkai Shea Shampoo sample from Ulta. Love the coconut scent and tossed in pool bag to quick wash out chlorine after swimming. Blown away how moisturized and soft my parched hair became when I air dry my hair actually spirals into curls. Love this shampoo sooo much I bought the Fekkai Shea conditioner, curl refresh, and hair mask, and the oil is next!!

My scalp is ridiculously sensitive, almost EVERY shampoo makes my hair fall out in chunks. I have tried almost EVERY shampoo out there and for a while was only able to use baby shampoo. Well known luxury brands made my hair feel like straw. Some didn't make my hair fallout but made my scalp REEK. The first time I used this shampoo my hair did not fall out and it dried feeling so smooth. However it's so pricey and im not a fan of the smell. It's not strong or artificial smelling it's just not my favorite

I could not be more disappointed with the new scent of this product. It is nothing like the original. Change to the scent aside, this new Shea scent is unpleasant, chemical-like and generally very unappealing. It is almost bitter, as though the product went bad. Honestly, I even returned and repurchased the product again, just in case I’d received an “off” batch - but nope, this is just the new scent…. Blech.
