first time buyer amd purchased off of the advertised photos, which advertised a new lid. it was a determining factor, but I received the old lid version. it dries down nicely; the scent (pistachio) has an odd lingering scent that I wouldn't say is pistachio. but it's odd to see the product I just received shown as the "lesser" version.

I think they might have cost-cut on the formula of this recently, I remember it being a lot better when my friend had a bottle with the pump like a year ago. It's just super greasy but also not that hydrating, and I feel like I have to use a ton to feel any hydration on my skin. It doesn't soothe my shaving irritation as well as basic nivea, aveeno, etc. lotions and never fully evaporates, getting dressed or touching my hair within ~3 hours of applying just feels gross because it has this residue that doesn't go away. Vanilla cashmere also smells exactly like vanilla greek yogurt, no depth to the scent and has a dairy-like sourness, which isn't ideal for scent layering.

This product smells so good and is definitely a fan favor and I totally understand why. The only issue I have with it is you really can't get every last drop because the bottle is so oddly shaped. I have gotten many sense in this product and every single one is so amazing.

Ulta has a habit of advertising new packaging while shipping you old packaging! They changed the pump to a regular cap because the pump stops working midway. I don't understand why they continue to sell old defective items. You would expect this to happen at a drugstore, not at Ulta!!

This has become one of my staples over the years with my favorite being the fresh and cozy scent. I do still use a lotion before for my skin type but this and a body oil chefs kiss!
