I have curly frizzy hair that I blowdry straight. I own a first-gen dyson and have been looking to replace a drybar doubleshot. Was hopeful about the Shark but it really pulled a lot of hair out - maybe a learning curve?…but not worth sacrificing the hair to figure it out. Also thought it ran hot and was overall loud and heavy. (I usually have my airpods in while i dry my hair but this was too loud to hear over). The finish was decent but for me, the cons outweigh the pros. Pass.

I replaced my 5 year old Dyson with this and was so excited to use all of the attachments. Unfortunately, after about a month, the styler overheats and shuts off while using any attachment. Since the only time it works is when being used as a hair dryer, it is extremely overpriced. I have followed the troubleshooting steps provided by shark for the error and the issue has not resolved.
Works beautifully on 3C color-treated hair
This worked so well on my 3C hair that it gave me the motivation to finally trim off my damaged ends!! Mind you, this tool somehow still managed to make even the most fried ends look decent and lay down smooth. I just got tired of the tangling and wanted to get the most out of this product. Again, I have super curly hair and this helped me do a full blowout in less than 45 mins. That is an outstanding new record for me, I'll take it! Styling my hair with heat is a dream now. I no longer dread having to "spend time" doing my hair because this makes it a breeze. My only complaint is that there is no carrying case with this system, which would have been very much appreciated, especially considering the price on this set. With all attachments included it is quite heavy and bulky, which can be cumbersome when switching between hot barrels to another piece. It would be much easier if I had a case with compartments for each attachment piece. Given the power of this thing, louder noise is expected with use. Nonetheless, I am still very happy with my purchase as it as drastically transformed my styling routine to be much simpler and easier than ever before! Never going back to regular styling thanks to my Strawberry Matcha Shark (:

I bought this tool because firstly, i love the strawberry matcha design!! and was looking for a styling tool i can use to curl or straighten my hair. I previously used a dyson which i enjoyed but this tool was a game changer! the glossi round brush attachment is amazing, the straightener is also amazing! Definitely give it a go!
