Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends with lukewarm water. Lather a quarter size amount of shampoo in hands. Work shampoo into roots and anywhere hair touches the scalp. Rinse shampoo. Squeeze out excess moisture before applying conditioner.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have tried tons of curly hair shampoos, but I always had flat roots and top layers. I assumed it was just my wonky curl pattern. Within just a couple of washes with this shampoo, I have so much more volume and wave at my roots! My wavy/curly hair loves this shampoo! I didn't notice the scent issue. It just smells clean to me.
I would buy again!

I didn't even try this because of the SMELL
Unfortunately, I can't whether or not this is good for hair. The moment I opened my package I was overpowered by the smell of grandma. Decided I wouldn't be able to use it because of the smell and left it in my bathroom with the intention of returning it later. When I came back, my entire bathroom reeked of old lady smell. The bottles weren't even open—just sitting on the counter. I had ignored the reviews intitally thinking maybe they were exaggerating and since I like Ouai, I wanted to give it a try. I recommend NOT doing what I did—trust the reviews. The smell is intolerable.
