I bought this for my brother
I had smelled a guy from work and he smelled so good. I had to ask him what it was and he told me. I loved it bc it was a light masculine smell. It was not to strong. I changed jobs and I smelled it on a coworker again I loved it. First guy was in his early 30's and second guy in his late 40's. I bought it for my brother and he liked and said he got so many compliments from random women and asking what it was. If you want something not strong, not to powerful but just right this is it.

I'm a woman reviewing this cologne because it might be the most delicious mens cologne I've ever encountered. I can pick up even a whiff of this cologne in a busy public area, look around and wonder who had the fabulous taste to wear it. I'm very sensitive to all fragrance and picky about what I wear myself, what I love to smell on a man. Many mens' colognes are generic, overpowering, cloying. But the original Sauvage is spicy, woodsy, clean, classy and very sexy. For the reviewers who mentioned it wears off, perhaps they get acclimated to the scent and can't smell it on themselves? I'd imagine a little goes a long way.
