Survived flying off a moving car

I have all of my everyday, important to me, make up in this case. I bought this in my local ulta store and was SOO excited and felt like I was back in my childhood when I seen them in the isle. (Side note, the color choice in my store was this or the classic coral and blue.. just seen online they ha...ve blue and purple I would have picked that color option over this one but the rose gold is still sickening and matched a lot of my other makeup related cases) Writing this, I've had the case for about three weeks now and I hadn't needed to take it with me until recently. I live at the top of a hill with a large S curve on it before you get to the bottom of the hill. Well, I was taking my kids to my moms house for an overnight stay and we have a little mustang, so I was trying to organize everything in and planned on putting my make up in the trunk so the kids couldn't get into it while I was driving. I put the case on top of the car to help buckle the kids in and they are not listening so I'm getting frustrated (#momlife what's new? Nothing.) and forget about the make up. I get in the car, my husband in the passenger seat, back out of the driveway, go down the hill around the S curve and stop at the stop sign.. went to turn left and I hear my make up scatter across the road. I could have died I was so mad I was so worried about the mirror and my pans of blush and highlighters, I just instantly stopped and pulled over, put cautions on, parked, and ran to my makeups rescue. Let me tell you, it's been a day and a half since this happened and I'm still shook that nothing broke at all. Just some scratches on the corners of the case where it hit the road. Thank goodness for this case!! Saved me a lot of money with it's sturdy-ness. Also after the flying lesson it took I realized the mirror has a lock hinge on the right side of it..this case has lots of room for all different size items large enough for several pallets and most importantly keeps things safe for the price!
