Love this Product
This is an amazing product and I love it. So here is the thing, understand retinol before you blame the product. Understand your own skin before you blame the product. Understand that using other products in conjunction with a retinol might cause a bad reaction. I have highly sensitive skin and I am extremely particular about what I put on it and I didn't have any issue at all with this product as long as I used it once or maybe twice per week and I didn't use any other actives at the same time (i.e. I stopped using the exfolikate cleanser while I was using this and only used the goat milk cleanser). Also, almost all retinols will cause your skin to peel so I have no idea why one would assume this shouldn't or wouldn't. It is not the product that is flawed. It is absolutely NORMAL to peel from ANY retinol. All of that being said, this product has been hands down the best retinol I have used (and I have tried many from the ordinary up to prescription strength). I like the resurfacing feel that I first notice from this. After continued use I like that my skin just feels softer and make up goes on smoother. I suggest you buffer this with a moisturizer (not an occlusive one, because yuck) either before or after applying if you either have sensitivities to retinol or you think this may be too harsh. You have to ease into retinols and this one is on the stronger side. If you want a baby retinol try the First Aid Beauty one for a few months before going to this one. Also make sure your skin is completely dry before whacking this on. And wear sunscreen for crying out loud!!

Destroyed my face
Received this, along with the companion moisturizer, as a GWP and figured I would give it a try. I subbed it in for my retinol and vitamin C serums for two nights and it absolutely destroyed my face. I have been using retinol, including prescription strength at times, and vitamin C for over a year, so I am not new to these actives. This left my face red, blotchy, peeling, itchy, and burning, and it has been that way for three days! I hope that I don't have to go to the dermatologist. I have never had a reaction like this to anything. I am guessing it is the fragrance.Just awful!
HATE IT
I absolutely did not like this product, it made my skin peel and the places that it peeled is BURNING and hurts so bad. The first time I used it my face got red, and my face usually gets red after everything, a week later I tried it again and my skin is PEELING and BURNING! It's been 3 days and my skin is still burning and peeling. I do not recommend this product.
