- Q
Can this be used on a 15 yr old acne dark spots, or is it too strong to use on teens skin?
- Asked by Kari
- Official Answer By Urban Skin Rx - Brand EngageThanks for your question! While retinol can be used by teens, including at age 15, we recommend starting with caution. Teen skin can be more sensitive, so if trying retinol, choose a gentle, low-strength formula and use it 2–3 times per week at night, always with moisturizer and SPF. For first-time users, especially teens, alternatives like niacinamide or azelaic acid may be better tolerated for treating acne and dark spots. Slow but steady! Recommend!
Been using this product for the past 4 weeks, 4-5 days weekly. Ive used prescription retinol before for my hormonal acne and this OTC option comes quite close while comparing its effectiveness in increasing skin turn over. As a standalone product it caused my skin to breakout and burn more during my...

Good product, but VERY misleading.
[This review is written as part of a promotion.] This product goes on well. It's smooth, not sticky, and feels good on the skin. It did not cause me any dryness or peeling, and I have fairly sensitive skin. But I would not reach for this product as a retinol. If you look at the product informati...

I Thought I Was Crazy!
BURNSSS… brought tears to my eyes! But it made my face look so clear. Afraid to use it again.
I love this product!
Real helped even out my skin tone.
4 stars because....
As a dark spot treatment I love it. I've used it as an overall retinol treatment and it's a little too strong for me. It has a lot of powerhouses for Hyperpigmentation tho ex: alpha Arbutin, vitC, Azelaic Acid, Glutathione, kojic acid & niacinamide ofc. I'll use it when I need to and when my skin can handle it. maybe 3x a month for overall dark spot tx 3xweek if needed
Great product
I've been using this product for 3 months. I have seen my acne scars clearing up.
Tried it and Suffered 😢
Let me start by saying that my skin is very sensitive, 48 years old, impacted with rosacea and additional intermittent eczema. That being said this product line is purported to be safe for sensitive reactive aged skin. Also let me say that the reaction I experienced with this product line was not retinol purging. I had been using IS Clinical Products for several years including their anti-aging retinol products. Unfortunately I used these products only twice and I dealt with a severe flare up of rosacea & eczema. So now this cream sits in my plastic tub that collects products I have purchased yet can't use. I can't comment on long-term effectiveness or if the products work as claimed by marketing jargon. One other thing. WHAT is with the horrible scent of this product line? If I hadn't had a hypersensitivity reaction to these products and even if they worked as marketed I wouldn't have repurchased any of these products because they smell horrible.
