Kate Somerville +Retinol Firming Eye Cream

I just purchased my 2nd tube. Results took 3-4 weeks before I started to notice a difference. I saw the biggest changes in the decrease of "crows feet" wrinkles and under my lower eyelid. I also noticed that the dark circles under my eyes became less noticeable. I don't feel like this is the best eye cream on the market but at 50% off it's hard not to purchase.

Let me first say that I almost never leave reviews even when I like a product. Yes, I'm that lazy. But being stuck in my house from this crazy pandemic, I really have nothing better to do. With that out of the way, I have to say that I was skeptical about this product. Especially with such sketchy reviews with this either working like a miracle serum for some or doing absolutely nada for others. I really like Kate Somerville, but know nothing is as good as it is ever touted to be. So, with this being 50% off, I thought I'd take a chance. All I can say is I'm speechless. This stuff is amazing. Not sure what is in it or why it worked so well with my skin, but I immediately saw a difference. I know it's not going to be permanent, because nothing is except for a botched facelift. I've walked into the bathroom like 15 times to keep checking the results. I'm bummed I didn't take a mortgage out on my house to buy stock in this. Be prepared for a burn though. I think someone mentioned that in the reviews. It didn't give me a chemical burn, but I did feel a warm sensation. The serum is thick and sticky as well, so only a small amount is needed and make sure to really pat it in and let it dry. I have what you considered "mature" skin, so ANY changes are noticeable for me as I need as much help as I can get. I'm curious if the negative reviews are from the younger generation. At any rate, I'm kicking myself for stocking up on toilet paper and fruit roll ups for my kids, when I should've bought out this product when it was 50% off. Ces't la vie. Oh! My daughter works for S*phora (shhhhhh…I like Ulta better) and she says she's seen some amazing results with this, but I still didn't believe her until I tried it myself. She also said that about Cover FX's blurring primer and the only thing that blurred was my husband's eyesight from looking at the giant pores on my face all day. So take it for what it's worth. Looks like this will be a love hate relationship for most.

I gently with my ring fingers pat this under my eyes including down & around my orbital bones. I've been caring for my skin since 29/30 & now at almost 47 along with a better array of products, I really feel so good in my skin. That means so much as autoimmune diseases have taken their toll. But I can control what I put in me as well as on my skin. That gives me some control back & I take of me for me. I don't mind compliments but this is truly for me first these day/night skincare routines I have. Do your research & I'm sure Kate Somerville will have products for you too. I won't go along with fads & have found what works for my sensitive skin & love to share what I've learned for other women to feel good about themselves despite circumstances. Age gracefully & humbly. Care for you because you must before being able to properly care for others. It's never too late.

I used the entire bottle and have had no change in firmness or wrinkle reduction. Sometimes it burned when I put it on. sometimes it made my eyes itchy as well. highly disappointed with this, especially for the cost. I will not be purchasing this again.

Really wanted to love this as I really love Kate's other products. I saw no difference of the brightening, firming effect it claimed to have. I am 25, but get little sleep and have dark circles. I have used countless other eye creams and gels that work better for less money. I would not repurchase. I have combination skin and this sometimes stung a little around crows feet area, so if you're dry or sensitive this is definitely not for you! I actually did like the applicator unlike some of the other reviewers (and it did not rust for me).
