To achieve fuller coverage when applying creams, slide the sleeve down slightly to expose only the top of the bristles and apply using a buffing motion. For lighter coverage when applying powders, slide the sleeve down fully to expose all of the bristles and apply using a sweeping motion.

This brush is great for travel and on the go but it does feel cheaply made. The metal part on the inside that holds the bristles up when not in use is hard to move. The bristles are soft and it works on both cream and powder products but I prefer it with just powder. Complimentary from haleysbeauty

This beautiful retractable brush was complimentary gifted by Haleysbeauty. I am in love with the compact packaging and design. The bristles are so soft but also great quality. This brush is perfect for contouring, foundation, blush and powder application. It's so easy to blend with it. This is all vegan and cruelty free.
