I Like It But Zinc Bar Solos
Cool polishes. I recommend prepping your nails and adding a base coat, otherwise it's unforgiving (hence my pinky). Unlike Zinc Bar, the Mixed Metals polish wears fast on the edges even when secured w/ a top coat, and it stains the nails yellow.
What the heck
Honestly beautiful color but worst polish i have ever used, i applied 3 layers with a top coat and it peeled off instantly and chipped horribly. even with 3 coats there were still very sparse spots if you have any texture to your nails. i will never buy an essie polish again . also upon removal im left with orange stains on my nails from the mint shade

I love essie Flash Chromes SO SO much!! I've been seeing metallic polish everywhere right now and didn't have a way to get the look at home - now I do!! I've been recommending these to all my friends. They are so reflective and come in the most gorgeous but elevated shades. Just a helpful tip for anyone wondering - try using a base coat to make sure your base is smooth.

Willing to try other colors
I just removed my gel nail set and put on this polish without much buffing or prep (really last minute trying to have nails look decent) and no base coat so it truly does show all my nail imperfections. BUT the color is so pretty on my skin tone and honestly gives a good happiness hit whenever I look at my busted nail beds that I'm willing to try other colors. I bought the goldish "Mixed Metal" and my skin tone is light medium olive.
