Hot Tools Pro Artist Smooth Heat Protective Styling Serum

This serum smells really good and left my hair with a nice shine. It definitely helped with the smoothing of it after being heat styled. I liked the packaging but it would be easier to store if the bottle was taller and thinner. Overall, I loved the smell and that can make or break whether I will use or try a product. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel. At first I was skeptical of how effective something in such a small bottle could be! However, after using this with my flat iron for a few weeks, I can say that good things come in small packages! Overall, I would say that my hair is more smooth and less frizzy after use, with a noticeable shine. I have wavy hair that is fine. While this product did its job, I was concerned that it weighed my hair down and was TOO sleek. I feel like for my type of hair, I prefer no additional product is better when using my flat iron on a daily basis. This serum works, but maybe a little too well for me!

First of all, I love the packaging and the pump! It's easy to use and looks pretty on my make up table. The serum is a smooth and creamy texture and is super easy to apply. It doesn't have weird perfumes which is a big plus for me. And it doesn't make my hands sticky! After applying it works right away and my hair looks smooth and shiny and very healthy. If I need to use some flat iron or curling iron, I feel great knowing that my hair is protected by the serum. It makes it easy and fast to style as well. My hair seems to hold the shapes better too! I received this hair care item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am constantly looking for hair serums and products to make my hair shiny, smooth and prevent split ends and damage. I struggle to find good products that work beyond just smelling good, but I finally found one in this product! It smells good although it is a pretty strong perfume smell, and it is easy to apply with clear instructions. The packaging is average but that is not a big concern of mine. I'd highly recommend and I'll be using this everyday going forward!

I received this product as part of the stellar product testing program. I thought it had a lovely light smell and def smooths the flyaways. I am anxious to continue using it to see its effect on my frizz and split ends long term. It does have a shimmer to the product that after noticing I kinda wished translated to my hair as well but I didn't notice any there. A small amount goes a long way which is great and I like that you can use it before or after heat styling. The product does mention it provides a smooth style hold and I don't know that I noticed any additional "hold" when using the product. My one dislike of the product is it says to use on dry hair! I'd like to do it right after shower pre blow dry! May test it out anyways!
