slow to dry, leading to mildew

Submitted 8 days ago

From Salem, MA

This is a great concept, and I was excited to use these since I get water ALL over the sink when I wash my face, like some kind of monster. I thought I was inept, but apparently there's a market for this kind of thing, so I'm not alone! These do a great job of catching the water, especially if I position them on juuust the right spot on my wrist. However, they are impossible to get dry. Wringing them out doesn't do much, and they inevitably get mildewy because of how slow they are to dry out. I ran them through the hot wash and the dryer a few times and they held up ok (only a few loose threads), but it was never enough to get out the mildew smell. I think my husband even put them the towel wash with bleach, to no avail. I had to toss them away.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

pros: works to stop water from dripping down arms while washing face. cons: sheds terribly in the washing machine and seems started splitting after a few months.

it's like a sweat band/bathrobe material. Not crazy absorbent like those big fluffy ones, but as long as you don't submerge yourself in water it works well. For normal face washing, I would recommend

For the price these are not great. Similar to gym wristbands that are used to wipe sweat and very thin material. I have used other brands that are the same material as a spa headband and they work better to catch water. If you arent that messy when washing your face these might be fine, but for me they dont work well.
