It's still the texturizing hair paste designed to deliver long-lasting texture, separation, and flexible control, allowing for a movable style with a medium hold and a matte finish. Regarding the product you mentioned, our Pliable Styling Paste (which was formerly known as Rewind 06) is actually a different product within our styling lineup. Great texture and hold
I love this product. I have fine hair and this really thickens it up. A little goes a long way. I put about a teaspoon in my hands, rub it around then blend in my wet hair right after i shower.

Used to be WAY better.

I started buying this almost a decade ago. It's utter garbage now. Redken is watering this down. It doesn't provide half the texture or styling ability it used to. When I used to go to a salon my hairdresser would recommend this however after buying it recently I ended up throwing it away after a few uses. There are those of us who have short hair styles that need competent hair styling products. This one is a fail. Too bad. Redken was my company of choice but it isn't anymore.
