Starting at the base of the lashes, pull mascara brush through from root to tip. Layer until desired effect is achieved. Repeat on bottom lashes.
If you typically use an eyelash curler before application, feel free to curl your lashes beforehand.
To remove mascara, use eye makeup remover or wash off with a gentle cleanser and warm water.

I was shaky about brown mascara because I have sparse lashes, but these made my lashes look full and natural, but not crazy like deep black mascara can. It brought out my hazel eyes and made my eyes look more open!

I was gifted this product for my honest review. I am loving this Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes mascara. It provides volume and length to my eyelashes. It also holds a curl well. I am allergy prone and can be sensitive to some mascaras. I have no sensitivity to the Perfect Strokes mascara. No issues with clumping or flaking. No difficulty removing mascara at the end of the day. I rarely use mascara on lower lashes due to occasional allergy/ watery eyes. I tried this mascara on my lower lashes and it performed well. I work 12 hour shifts and my lashes still look great at the end of the day. The brown shade of mascara is a more natural look on me. (I am a black haired, mature woman with a medium complexion.) I do have the black shade in my Ulta cart to try next.

I am so happy with this mascara! It makes my lashes look super long and thick, which in turn makes my eyes look huge. The brown color is perfect and matches my natural color, making it easy to maintain a natural look. I would definitely this again!

Been using this for about a month and overall I like it. Volume is legit without looking clumpy or spidery, and it doesn't flake on me throughout the day. Only issue is some smudging under the eyes by end of day, so if you have oily skin go in with a good concealer underneath first.
