Use accordingly...

Initially I read it to be a veil so I never would use this powder to 'Set' anything! I only use it after everything is done and then I lightly dip my big powder brush one time, and swirl and bounce it softly in the cap. I swish it across my tzone and oily areas. It softens my look or harsh lines and...

I think everyone knows by now that this is great at setting your foundation without building up, changing color, etc., so I am not reviewing it based on that. I would give it 5 stars for that alone. I am giving my review based on this so-called "travel friendly" container. Yes, it is good for travel...

Super drying and crumbly

this powder was recommended to me as someone with especially dry skin. when it gets over-dry, I breake out. unfortunately, this has to be the worst powder I've used in my life. it's advertised as translucent, but turns my fair skin orange. it's super patchy too. it sticks to my foundation, then it all crumbles off and looks pretty awful. wish I hadn't bought this :/

This product is horrible. Not only does it completely dry out my face but it also makes my makeup smear and become blotchy.

Excellent powder

This is my second purchase of this powder. It is colorless, so it doesn't change foundation color and it prevents it from oxidizing. It has a pretty, natural finish.

Q
What is the difference between translucent, illuminating, and tinted? What is the tint? Is the illuminating just glitter?
Asked by Tori
Official Answer By bareMinerals - BE
The difference between these is in the finish. Translucent offers a translucent soft touch finish, the Illuminating version provides a subtly brightening dewy finish (no glitter) & Tinted offers a soft finish with a hint of warm tint. Was this answer helpful to you
