For the best results, wet blender before use so your sponge expands to mimic the texture of natural skin. Simply soak, squeeze out excess water and bounce your fave complexion products to achieve a flawless, skin-like finish.
Colored with non-toxic, water-soluble dyes. For this reason, your Beautyblender may shed dye for the first couple of washes, similar to a pair of blue jeans. Once you squeeze the excess water out, the excess dye is removed as well.

Why does it leak color brand new?
Received this product from Influenster and Beautyblender free to try. Prior to first use I ran my blender under water and noticed pigment coming out and grabbed a cup. This has been a game changer for me in applying my tinted sunscreen! Just be sure to wash it often and do not be surprised with some pink dye runoff.
Best Sponge?

I usually use the orange Real Techniques sponge to blend my makeup but have heard so many good things about the Beauty Blender. It's pink, it's squishy, and it gets HUGE when wet. I actually threw away my RT sponge after purchasing this one. It's worth the hype!

The Beautyblender is one of my must-have staples for making my makeup complete. It blends and softens the application of foundation and contours. Unfortunately it must be great tasting as well, I have a Golden Retriever that loves to eat 'em, if she can get it! She can be a bad dog.
Pink dye still washing out
This blender works well, has good bounce. But, everytime I clean this blender pink dye washes with it. This makes me wonder if small amounts of dye is also mixing with my foundation. No thank you, will be looking for another product to replace this asap.
WHAT HAPPENED?!
Why is this product significantly worse than it once was? I use this product EXACTLY how it's supposed to be used per the directions z I clean after every use and always with with the cleansing gel, this change is not due to a "user error", Beauty Blender is cutting corners and using gross materials now. The past two blenders I've purchased have been horrible. Initial wash is just pure pink dye coming out of it, the dye bleeding hasn't stopped, like at all. The sponge is faded into a gross orange color very quickly and began losing small chunks out of it within the first few uses. I thought it was a fluke, replaced it within about 2 weeks ( way too soon) and the one I bought to replace it is just as bad. Feeling quite confused, disappointed and betrayed by my longtime trusted go-to beauty essential.
