What happened to the formula?
I used to love this, but for some reason this bottle that I just bought has hard little beads or granules in it. They do not melt. I can't massage this balm on my face the way it's supposed to be used without scratching myself with little hard beads.
Yuck! Waxy & horrible film left
I bought a kit to try this brand out since I've heard about it for so long. Seems it came out as a rival to the ordinary. It's going right in the trash. It leaves a horrible waxy film on my skin. When I first opened it all that came out was liquid so I shook it up and still it was just the worst cleanser I've ever used. I'll stick to clean it zero!
The Formula Changed
I used to live by this balm as someone with sensitive, combination to dry skin. It was so gentle and made my skin feel so refreshed, without causing breakouts. However, they must have changed the formula recently, because it leaves a weird greasy feeling after rinsing, and they've added exfoliating beads in the product (I avoid products with exfoliating beads after having a bad experience with them).
Caused eye irritation
This use to be my holy grail oil balm after so many others broke me out. I have used and repurchased this for years. Recently ive been expierencing eczema around my eyes. I never suspected a product i have been using so long could be the culprit, but sure enough when i removed this from my routine, my eye eczema went away. If you are experiencing eczema around the eyes as well, see if its this product. I have no idea what has changed in the formula recently to cause this. I also have noticed what others have said about a gritty texture that wasnt there before. I have several back ups that i will no longer use. 😕
Wanted to like this product
I bought this makeup remover balm to try something different & cheaper. It had these small waxy beads. After I washed my face it still felt like I had makeup on my face I had to do a third cleans to get it off. About ten minutes after washing my face it was very oily. I will be returning this product after one use.
