Q
Is this product safe to use on my face?
Asked by Mr. Mark
Official Answer By GiGi
Hi! Our GiGi No Bump Body Scrub is formulated for use on the body only to prevent ingrown hairs. The GiGi No Bump Topical Solution and the GiGi No Bump Roll-On both are great to use on the face and body to prevent ingrown hairs post-waxing or after shaving. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
It says use no sooner than 8 hours prior to hair removal and 48 hours after.but it also says pre and post skin smooth and exfoliator radiant skin for optimal hair removal. So I can't use it after I shave or wax hair? REALLY CONFUSING
Asked by Marcelina
Official Answer By GiGi
Hi! You can use the GiGi No Bump Body Scrub before and after waxing and/or shaving. For best results, we recommend using the scrub daily but giving yourself about 8 hours from the last time you use the scrub to the time you wax. And waiting at least a couple of days after hair removal before using the scrub on the waxed areas. Waxing and shaving both exfoliate the skin, as does the No Bump Scrub. Giving some time off from the scrub before and after hair removal keeps your skin healthy and prevents irritation. Was this answer helpful to you

Asked by Ash
Official Answer By GiGi
Hi! If the keratosis pilaris is extensive, it’s best to be under the care of a dermatologist. That being said, you can definitely use GiGi No Bump Body Scrub to minimize the appearance of mild kp. This very gentle scrub uses a combination of micro-beads and salicylic acid to unclog pores, exfoliate dead skin, and prevent ingrown hairs. Massage gently on damp skin, then rinse thoroughly and follow up w/ an appropriate moisturizer. Was this answer helpful to you

Hi! The scrubbing particles in the No Bump Body Scrub are super fine. Used moderately, this scrub should be safe for septic systems. i have been using this product for years . if you're looking for like a rough/grainy exfoliation this isn't the product for you .It has a jelly type consistency .However, the Salicylic acid in the product will get rid of your strawberry legs !

Weird to handle

I think this product does fairly what it claims, but I'd prefer if it was scrubbier. I think the gel consistency really hinders the physical exfoliation aspect of it. It's hard to grab out of the tub and rub it on in globs.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Didn't do anything for my KP

I didn't see any difference while using this, and I went through the entire jar. I made sure to moisturize as well because this seemed to dry my skin out. Maybe if I only had rough skin it would have been enough, it just didn't seem strong enough for my chicken skin.
