I bought this for my 5 year old son who bites his nails. He is not even fazed by the taste. I tried it myself, since I also bite my nails, and it doesn't taste good, but definitely not strong enough to keep the fingers out of the mouth. I've tried other brands in the past that have done the job much better than this. I'll have to go back and try a different brand.

I always end up subconsciously biting my nails. I am sick of them being so short and salons tend to make my nails even weaker. This actually works! I haven't touched my nails in three weeks and have seen great improvements to my nails. They are longer, stronger, and the taste lingers. My 9 year old girl and 4 year old boy both picked up their father's nail biting habit 😬 Drives me CRAZY! I told my daughter I about this product and she said she'd just bite it off anyhow. She came home from school after I applied it and told me how gross it is and how she hadn't bit her nails all day. Has continued to work! The four year old cries about it and makes dramatic spitting sounds, so it's a little harder. Helping one of them is enough to make me want to hug the Orly employees responsible for this product!!
