For A Specific Kind of Skin
So this is definitely for a very specific kind of skin. Like mine, honestly. My skin very simply doesn't hold moisture due to years of overwashing and damage. Nice product, terrible packaging
Me and my husband had to look on Reddit how to open this lotion when i got it out of the package. Absolutely ridiculous. The pump gets clogged and SHOOTS out the lotion. You better be careful or it will make a sense. I hate that I love the lightweight moisturizer so much, or id never buy this again.

I received this as a freebie with a recent purchase and honestly I am happy with it so far. It is incredibly lightweight and doesnt make my skin feel like it can't breath. Thats an issue I have with so many other lotions/ moisturizers. It glides on so well and feels moisturizing without feeling like I have a second skin on. It does have an odd smell that I just can't seem to describe but I don't hate it. I have never been able to use lotions with added fragrance so im used to plain lotion smell. The product has done really well on my very mistreated skin from years of skincare neglect. I also have very sensitive skin and I haven't had any strange reactions so far. It's so gentle I have used it on my face a couple of times when I had really bad wind burn. Some people report a sticky feeling and from my experience maybe there can be a slight stickiness for a minute or two ONLY if you lather it on heavily. I don't seem to experience a sticky feeling if I do a regular thin/ regular coat. This is one of very few body moisturizers I can actually stand having on my skin so I will forsure be buying this product again. I just wish they had a larger size bottle.
It's sticky
I'm a huge fan of The Ordinary and received this as a freebie with a regular purchase. It's definitely sticky, but if I apply cuticle oil and then put it on my hands, it feels much better. I'm not a fan for overall use though. Will I use the rest of the bottle? Yes. Will I buy it again? No.
Eh…it's ok
It's a super lightweight formula. Feels a smidge thicker than water. Probably great for sensitive skin. However, as a dry skin girlie it doesnt do much of anything. Also it smells like … a hospital (that sterile chemical smell) when it dries.
For A Specific Kind of Skin
So this is definitely for a very specific kind of skin. Like mine, honestly. My skin very simply doesn't hold moisture due to years of overwashing and damage. Furthermore, I can't tolerate the heavy feeling of most of the moisturizers that my dermatologist recommended to help, and I am too impatient to wait multiple minutes for my skin to soak up even lightweight lotions. This addresses that. The lotion is very thin and watery, and it sinks into the skin very easily. I saw an instant improvement to the elasticity of my skin and my dry, scaly patches. It did leave a faintly moist feeling on the skin, but it wasn't any more than the humidity in my state. Definitely don't agree with calling it sticky. Here's the bad parts: the package is incredibly small for what is marketed as an everyday, full-body lotion. While the thinness of the formula means that a little goes for longer, I think someone using this all over their body every day is going to get sick of how often they need to restock. Also, like many said, the pump on the package would benefit from improvement. It needs indicators on it as to what direction you need to turn it, and you need to be able to turn it less. I shouldn't have to spend five minutes (a conservative estimate) turning a pump left just for it to finally click into the locked position. It should just come in the locked position. There's also the issue that because it sinks into the skin so easily, it can feel like you're never putting enough on which can be frustrating. I will honestly probably just stick to my more expensive cream after I use this one up.
