Excellent!
I decided to try this oil out after I started Retin-A. Anyone familiar with using this cream knows you go through about 1-2 months of skin horror before breaking through to the beneficial results. My skin looked like flaky scales. After the first use, I saw immediate results. Softer, no flakes, sma...

I just don't know
So bought this hoping it would help with my skin tone since it claims to even it out and calm it down because of the antioxidants. Well I've been using it for a few days now and my skin is noticeable softer BUT a few issues I have are... It's greasy and my skin is like an oil slick after I apply it....

smells horrific
more like maracoochie oil this stuff smells so bad. does it work? never dared to put it on my skin, other than my cuticles, but I did use it on my split, dry ends. it helped my curls retain some more moisture but the smell is hard to get past
Just ok
Was just ok. Nothing special in my opinion and did not provide the hydration I was hoping for. Not bad just not great compared to others I I've tried
Stands the test of time
I started using this product about 10-12 years ago. It was the first facial oil I ever used and one of the first non-drugstore skincare items I added to my routine. I don't remember there being many facial oil options on the market at the time, but I do remember falling in love with this product from the start. Over the years, many other facial oils have landed on the market. I have ventured away from Tarte at times to try other oils, but this product always works its way back into my routine. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I think it's more to do with the product itself. This is a "thicker" oil than others I've tried, meaning that it has more body and feels luxurious upon application. It's not one that sinks into the skin quickly, making it perfect for the last step in my nighttime routine. I love the way this oil smells and the way it gradually brightens my skin over time. Not only is the user experience a pleasure, but my skin feels soft and supple with regular use. As I've gotten older and used/ experimented with skincare over the years, a handful of products have stood up to the competition and stood the test of time, and will likely remain in my routine for years to come. This is one of them.
Not good
Greasy, doesn't soak in, expensive, over hyped, didn't do anything positive, smells horrible, feels low quality for a ridiculous price.
Glass skin
I have found that using this as part of my skin prep has made my makeup look very smooth and blended.
