Finally, a mask that fits into my routine! Being able to use this *before* shampoo makes such a huge difference to me. No more showering and then having to waste water or stand in the cold while a mask does its thing. It definitely makes my hair silky and healthy looking too! You apply it to pre-dampened hair, and it spreads very easily - even on the areas where I have bleach-destroyed hair. The smell itself is a bit woodsy. It throws me off every time, but only because it's unexpected in a women's hair product. It's not offensive in any way. The only reason I removed a star is because the efficacy seems to be heavily dependent on the quality of shampoo you use after. If you use one that's too cheap, the entire result can be affected. But a generally good shampoo is enough to stay out of this products way in making you hair look as healthy as after you've just left a salon. I'd definitely recommend!

the product had a really interesting texture that felt pretty moisturizing when applied to the hair. my hair felt soft and nourished afterwards, however, I didn't see many longterm results after consistent use. i would recommend if you want something to soften up your hair though. it did soften my hair after using it, but for a moisture mask, I expected more deep and lasting hydration in my hair
