Wet before use and use RT's signature 3-point application technique. Use the flat edge to apply and cover, the round sides to blend and blur, and the precision tip to conceal and perfect. Use damp for a natural, dewy finish. Use with sunless tanners for instant definition and sculpted looks.
Cleaning, care & maintenance: Rinse through with lukewarm water after each use. Deep clean 1x/week with Real Techniques Brush + Sponge Gel Cleanser (sold separately). Air dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area. Store in a cool, dry place. Replace every 30 days.
Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How best to clean this sponge? I like the product, but was not happy with the cleaning of the product.

- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHi Trish, Thanks for your question and I'm so sorry to hear that you weren't happy with how to clean the sponge. We have two options we recommend for cleaning your sponges. The first is with our Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel (http://www.ulta.com/deep-cleansing-gel?productId=xlsImpprod13121017). This is great if you want a really deep clean or use lots of product on a regular basis. My favorite cleanser is one from our sister brand, EcoTools - it's a brush shampoo, but can be used on sponges. It can be found here: http://www.ulta.com/makeup-brush-cleansing-shampoo?productId=xlsImpprod13501085&sku=2297645&_requestid=21913828. The ingredients are more eco-friendly, it has a lovely smell and does a nice job. To clean, wet your sponge and apply the cleanser. Work it into a lather in your hand and rinse until the water runs clean. Make sure you squeeze any excess water out of your sponge after it's clean and leave it to air dry. Omg so Big
Omg this sponge is big. It's bigger when you wet it and squeeze it. It's the same quality as the regular RT sponge, applies the same. But I tried to use it for foundation, too big. I tried to use it to wash my dirty dishes in the sink, it was an amazing sponge at that.

I am in awe of this product! it is a complete game changer for my makeup routine, i have recently really been into extending the product down/all over body makeup so this was a no brainer purchase :) The pro's for me include just how versatile the products that can be used are, literally i dab on self tanner with this on my cheekbones, and collarbones for the ultimate contour look! This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. I've used the original real techniques sponge for years so I was excited to try the face and body version. This is definitely a firmer texture than the original, and is billed as light to medium coverage. I think you could use this on your face, but it wouldn't be a great substitute for a true face sponge. This shines as a body sponge-blending self tanner, applying highlight to the body. I will be using it for self tanner specifically.
