I love the midnight recovery night oil. Is safe to use around the eyes? What is the difference between the midnight recovery eye oil and the midnight recovery face oil? Do I really need both? Thx

- Official Answer By Kiehl's - BESo happy you love the oil! Midnight Recovery Eye is a cream, not an oil. Do not use Midnight Recovery face oil around your eyes, it is not designed for that function. You do need both because the eye cream is made for the eye area where skin is thinner and has no oil glands. Eye products also go through extensive ophthalmologist testing. Use the eye cream around your eyes and the face oil just on the face. Hope that helps clarifyWas this answer helpful to you

I love Kiehl's products but this eye cream makes my eyes swell up underneath, it burns and turns red instantly. I did a process of elimination with my nightly routine and it came down to this eye product. Bummed out because I'm out the money and have to throw this product away.
