My first set, I follow the directions to the T and application was super easy. I do wish the little nail numbers on the underside were easier to read, so that I could quickly match them. Had to get the readers out. I put hand lotion on right before I took the pics"so some of the nails still had that when I took the photos, but they are in fact matte on the bottom.

It really feels like these nails are 2 colors because it's either all shine, or no shine. Photos are in DIRECT sunlight so that's why they look super transparent. Would love to be able to see the shimmer at more angles but that's just because it's so pretty. **when shopping originally, I wished for more reference photos of these nails so I vowed I would add some when I got them, lol. TMI- I find that filing affects the integrity of the finish on all Glamnetic nails (makes sense) so I don't recommend doing it unless you really need to. I'm new here so I didn't know. Along with knowing that orders of at least $50 qualify for free shipping. So I had to pay the price I saved on the nails in shipping, but totally my fault! I just needed to see if this nail shape would look good before I committed to buying more (because most of the nails on my wish-list are this same shape ) :( Just devastating that nails like these would be awesome with a different length/fit option. Along with others! :( love love love all the options here at Glamnetic and many are this same, short almond. Too long for me :/ the short oval shape looks like an ideal short almond shape for my hands. (I previously bought Pinch me)
