In spite of the chips, I love it.
When I use this polish it barely lasts two days, but I just love the coppery shade so much that it does not matter. The chipping issue is popular with chrome like metallics like this one...just love it so much!

good as gold
Lovely shade that shifts between silver and gold, depending on the light. Just one problem: it starting chipping the first day. It literally peeled off one nail, in spite of the fact that I'd used both base and top coats. Reapplied it.... and the same thing happened again. Suggestions to make it mor...

Minimalistic
This is a review for the shade minimalistic. This polish was eay to apply and lastes about 3 days with no chips and then it began chipping, not badly but slightly on a couple nails. This shade was quite sheer, I had to do coats to get a fully opaque color. This is unusal for Essie nail polishes in my experience. The color itself is a bit dull and boring of a pink shade. I don't recommend this shade.
Beware of 'Eternal Optimist'
Unless you like a really girly pink. In the photos, it genuinely comes off as a more muted pink which was what I was going for but THIS is too pinky for me.
use a base coat!
off beat chic; beautiful color, true to the pictures, but USE A BASE COAT! I have never had a polish stain my nails this badly
Does NOT dry!
Home by 8 does not dry at all!!! I applied it at noon, by 5 pm even with quick dry top coat it's still wet to the touch. I applied quick dry drops and at 10 pm, it was still soft to the touch and it washed off with soap and water. Avoid at all costs! The Blazer navy color dried in 2 hours.
Good Buy!
This color looks great and lasted about 4 - 5 days without chipping on me. I wish it had lasted longer, but 4 - 5 days is not bad.
