Intense Start & Delicious Finish
The first spray is INTENSE--lots of citrus and mint--and not in a good way. It reminded me of an Axe body spray or teenage boys' locker room. But the dry-down is AMAZING. Lots of amber, vanilla, and wood. It settles into this rich and elevated masculine fragrance (although I honestly think women could also pull this off). It reminds me of Dolce&Gabbana's Velvet Patchouli unisex scent (which retails for $300+, I think), with a hint of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. Give this one time; it'll open up into something really nice.
Smells great and long lasting!
Messi Elixir smells amazing! It starts fresh with citrus and mint, then settles into a warm, woody scent that keeps getting better throughout the day. It lasted all day without being overpowering, and works well as an everyday scent and for a night out. The bottle is stunning and I love the free travel spray!
