My boyfriend used this product, as it is for men. Although it did have a clean refreshing scent, it did not last long at all. He used it without me knowing and I thought it was his deodorant. I did not smell any of the base notes it claims to have.

I can only assume this is what Lionel Messi smells like before a match on the pitch. It's really difficult to describe a fragrance in either words or pictures, and the images don't really give a good indication as to how this would smell. It does smell good, very masculine. Objectively, it seems to last longer than a regular eau de parfum or parfum, but I'm sure it varies person to person and their activity level/body chemistry. There is no specific evidence to suggest wearing this fragrance will improve anyone's football capabilities, unfortunately.

Messi Elixir is a really nice cologne for everyday wear. It has a woody, spicy vanilla scent with a masculine and sophisticated feel. I've worn it to work and received compliments from customers, which is always a nice bonus. It smells great without being overpowering and is versatile enough for both everyday wear and going out. Definitely a fragrance I would recommend and would buy again.
