This versatile cream formula can be used in a variety of ways. On its own for natural radiance, as a first step prior to foundation, mixed with foundation to add dimension and warmth or applied directly to elevated areas of the face to amplify glow. When used on its own or as the first step, warm a small amount of product between fingers and apply a thin layer all over the face, massaging into skin as you would a moisturizer.
To use with foundation, mix both products on the back of your hand and then apply.

This is a wonderful product, much nicer than expected. I've been curious about it for a while, but was not ready to take the plunge because I've got fair skin that's freckly and a bit ruddy, I knew the darker color was going to look a bit obvious, but the lighter is supposedly "rose gold", and rose gold jewelry looks terrible one me. I ended up getting a mini version from the "best of" kit, and it really enhanced my complexion without looking one bit glittery. I just wear a few tiny dabs of it on top of my sunscreen and my skin looks both clearer and healthier, without looking tanned. It's a subtle but noticeable enhancer that's definitely worth a try!

This takes some getting used to because it is easy to apply too much. I looked at other reviews and it's common. Like all RMS products, a little goes a very long way! I've tried mixing it with the tinted sunscreen and got a little too much of the base into the mix. I also tried using it as a bronzer and it worked well with just a dab. I deducted one star because the color is darker than that pictured, limiting my use. Many of the RMS products will be better for me in the winter because my summer skin is very oily, even at 64.
