Most Helpful Positive Review A Must for Summer I seriously love this product. First of all, being sweaty is very uncomfortable. But I don't trust myself with powder and feel like I'd get it all over my clothes. This seems to be the perfect solution. I bought it for west-coast summers and it held up to hot weather. When I recently visited the midwest, I realized it can work for humid summers as well. I put it on my chest, my back, the back of my knees.
Is it 100% perfect? No. But that's asking a whole lot. It worked well on a 80 + degree day, in the sun, walking around at an outside amusement park. It kept me mostly dry and feeling good.
It does dry as a powder on your hands after you rub it in so it requires a hand wash after applying it. I haven't noticed if it dries the same way on your skin -- that might be a little embarrassing.
Additionally, I LOVE this company. It's female-run and addresses those embarrassing things we tend to hide away -- thigh chafe, sweaty bods and much more.
Most Helpful Critical Review Really wanted this to work! I was really hoping this product would work... My husband has a spray on powder, but it's "manly smelling", so I won't use it. So when I found this stuff, I was super excited to try. It fell flat. I used a pea size under each of the girls and btwn my thighs. It was a mess. I think more ended up on my hands than on the part of the body I was aiming for. :( If you make a spray, I'd totally try that out!!

I love love love this product!! I used it one time and I was in love!! I used it under my chest and it kept me dry all day long! No redness, no irritation, nothing but dryness and comfort! I will 1000000% be buying this again!!
Disappointing 2

To say this is no mess and no pilling is a real misnomer. Maybe not where you apply it but that mess and those pills end up all over your hands when you apply. Which would be fine, but it means what needs to be getting on you ends up only on your hands. I just put it on not ten minutes ago and I'm already dripping sweat in my bra and the band is soaked. And I'm sitting on the couch, not exactly exerting myself. Bummer.
pills like crazy 2

Really wanted to like this, as I like megababe other products. This just doesn't work. It pills like crazy and doesn't prevent sweat, just makes me greasier
Hurrah for Magic Powder! 5

This has been a terrific product for underneath the post-menopausal prow. The underboob sweat had a gross odor, and the Magic Powder changed that. Because it goes on like a lotion, it's nice not to inhale a powder residue or have a scattering of it on the floor, it's easier to apply, and it stays on better than a traditional powder. The little red rashes I'd get are gone. This and the Thigh Rescue have made my summer much more comfortable.
Smells great, but it doesn't work 3
Gnome Way from Phoenix, AZ
I had high hopes for this. I used as directed, making sure I was totally dry, rubbed it in, but the lotion pills and it gets on clothes, much like white marks from deodorant stains. And, to top it off, it doesn't prevent sweat or odor.
Awesome stuff!!! 4

I'm a trans guy, so I bind, and binding means lots of sweating. I had been using their powder with decent results, but this is easier to apply IMO, and it seems to work a bit better. I will say I am still changing/reapplying, but like once a shift instead of once every 2 hours.

Pills & doesn't stop sweating 1
Aloulou from St. Louis
I was so excited to try this product based on reviews. Horribly dissatisfied! It pills like crazy - tried even a tiny amount applied to dry skin & still pulled. Did not prevent/stop my sweating. My bra was as damp as it is without this product. Sadly, it's a big fail.
This smells like old lady Body Odor!!! 2

I really had high hopes for this product but the smell is so awful and strong. It made me gag and want to puke. I smell NO lavender at all. Not quite sure if it even did the job with stopping the sweat. I wish it smelled better because I really wanted to use it! 😫
Not effective 1

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I've tried this multiple days in a row and I'm pretty sure it makes me sweat even worse.

I bought magic dust. I used it yesterday at sons graduation. 4 hours in 95 degree heat direct sun ! I used this under mgy breasts and under knee area and inside thigh s. I didn't have any sweat at all in that time in those areas ! I normally in heat or hot flash have sweat there. Amazing I use her other products as well all of them are amazing and work !

Not Effective for Me 2

I liked the idea of this, and when you put it on it transforms to smooth powdery stuff. However, the test of sweating didnt pass muster. I will say it kept the sweat from running in rivulets down my back on a very humid hot day, but it was still wet and all the moisture just sat on my skin's surface in this slimy weird way. If I had been wearing tight fitting clothing it would not have done anything, I'm sure.
This stuff is AMAZING! 5

Living in the desert, I sweat A LOT, especially during the summer! And sweat pours from everywhere! Today is the first time I used Magic Powder & it does all it claims to!! This stuff is absolutely amazing!!! It's been over 10 hours & I am still dry AF!!! Love! Love! Love!
Didn't do anything! 1
rachel from Toronto, Canada
I bought this from a local shop to avoid international shipping and am really disappointed. I applied it on clean, dry skin to all the places I usually have extra moisture and immediately sweat through it. It left powder residue on my clothes and did not stop any moisture. :(

I am in love with this product! I normally hate lavender scents, but I set that aside and ordered this because I'm chunky and I live in Florida. I was willing to risk it. The lavender scent is actually very nice and not obnoxious! This product is also super effective at keeping you dry when you feel like you're melting. A must-have for summer! My fiance is also going to use it on the tops of his feet where he gets heat rash in summer.
My new fave deo 5
LeeMD from SC
I got this to prevent bra sweat this summer because it's hot and humid where I live but this stuff is amazing and I'm now using it as armpit deodorant. The smell is eucalyptus like and it works.

Perfect for sweaty jobs 5
Icedregular from Boston, MA
Already a fan of bust dust but this lotion is even better. I work in covid icu and have to wear several sweaty layers of clothing and gowning and plastic layers every day. At the end of the day my scrubs are soaked except for my moisture wicking bra area. Underneath my bewbs really takes its toll on the skin there with a wet bra chafing. After one use of this magic lotion I WAS DRY ALL DAY. It continues to work for quite a while too. Even if you have normal sweat you are sick of - get this lotion. The smell is a light lavender - I am sensitive to smells and this one is delightful.
Day 2, so far so good. 5
Salina from Los Ángeles
Day 2 using, so far so good. I'm only 41 and suffer from pre-menopause and sweating has to be the most annoying of them all. My whole life, I've never been much of a sweater until after kids.. and the past 5 years, it's gotten worse.
Magic! 5
Jill from Salt Lake City, UT
A lotion seems counter productive when your goal is to stay dry but this product magically dries to a silky soft powder and keeps you dry. I prefer this to the powder bust dust when wearing dark colors especially because it doesn't show in clothes if the powder goes all over.
Stood up to a combined 40 minutes in a sauna and steam room! 5
Erin from Detroit, Michigan
When this product was announced, I bought it immediately. Summer is around the corner and the humidity gets pretty bad here in Michigan during July and August. I use the bust dust, which I like, but this is just handier being in a tube. So what's the best way to test this product: In a 160 degree sauna for 30 min. This is no joke. I tested on my lower back, under & between my breasts, and on my hands and forearms. It stood up to the heat. Then I went into the steam room for 10 min. Same situation.
Also, if you tend to get clammy hands when you get nervous, this is your solution. It also smells fantastic. One thing I wish is that you didn't have to work as hard to rub it in. I made the mistake of touching my black gym bag handles after applying this. I should have looked at my hands because there was powder residue that wasn't completely rubbed it. Just a note to act fast and rub it in really well.
This stuff blew my mind 5
Melissa from New York
I honestly didn't believe this would work until I tried it. And seriously my mind is blown. It goes on like a lotion, gets thicker as you rub it in, and then all of a sudden it's a powder. Lotion one second, powder the next. What is this sorcery? I'm amazed. Love this because it doesn't make a mess when you are shoving it down into your bra. Ladies you know what I mean. So happy to have this product for summer.
