I received this product as part of a free sample program, but this is my honest review! I have used the skin 1004 tone brightening ampoule before and it worked really well so I was excited to get this. My skin is very dry due to being on a retinoid, and my cheeks are visibly red because of skin barrier damage. I have been using this for nearly a week now and the redness on my face has lessened significantly. I still have some dry patches on my forehead and between my brows, but this has helped keep the flaking from worsening. I haven't had any breakouts so far, but I would always recommend patch testing first. I patch tested ony my arm to see if the spot would get itchy or would react differently, but none so far. The serum absorbs quickly and isn't sticky or greasy so it is also good to use in the morning before going out. I would recommend this product to anyone suffering from skin barrier damage as long as you are not allergic to any ingredients in this serum.

The consistency is milky and creamy not greasy, Lightweight. After using it I've noticed less redness and irritation, more balanced skin barrier. It's calming down my irritated skin. The texture is lightweight, non-sticky, it absorbs very quickly. It's gentle, effective. It's deep moisturizing formula that well hydrates my dry skin.
