I cannot get these nails off, I'm equal parts impressed and annoyed lol. I've had 2 sets on so far and I've had to soak off both. The hot water and soap thing, ha, no, not budging. I've had this current set on for 3 1/2 weeks and they'd probably stay on for another 2 weeks before I lose even one. ... I think the trick to my longevity is etching my natural nail vs. buffing it. I use a 180 grit file to essentially rough up the surface of my nail to remove the shininess but to also give the glue some texture to stick to. If you're having trouble with these lasting go ahead and try that but don't go ham with the file, you can actually file your natural nail down to the skin before you know it, so be careful. I also got a greenie (type of nail fungus) because these nails stay on so long and since they are press ons there is obviously gaps in between the nail and glue which lets water accumulate and that breeds fungus. Once you remove the press ons and expose your nail to the air, the fungus will automatically die so it just leaves an unsightly mark that will eventually grow out. You can put polish or another set of press ons on to hide it. With all that being said, I still would highly recommend these press ons but keep in mind you might have to soak them off so you won't be able to reuse them. The price is right if you're getting at least 2 weeks wear out of them or like in my case, almost a month plus! I do wish they had more designs and more shapes but the selection is great for most people. I'm just more adventurous than most with my nail art. üòÅ
