I received a sample

I received a sample of this product for free from Prada via Influenster for testing and for my honest review. I was sent a sample size bottle so I can not comment on the packaging of the full size product. I tried this myself, and also tested it on my boyfriend. It seems to wear ...better with my body chemistry, but had some similar scent components for both of us. One spray of the cologne lasted around 5 hours though the scent had faded by the end of that time. If you are considering buying this scent, I would strongly suggest sampling it on your skin first to make sure you like it. On him, this fragrance started sweet and smelled a bit like candy. To his nose the whole time he wore it it maintained a bit of a candy smell, though neither of us could identify the candy it reminded us of. Once it dried down on him, the smell reminded me of the generic liquid hand soap many stadium and airport bathrooms use in their dispensers - sweet and powdery, not necessarily a bad smell but not anything close to a "woody spice" scent or one that I personally would want as a perfume or cologne.  On me, this fragrance also started sweet but did not have as strong of a candy scent. It dried down smelling like a mix of the "stadium hand soap" smell combined with a woodsy amber type of scent (it reminded me of Bath & Body Works' "Sensual Amber" scent combined with the aforementioned powdery and sweet soap scent.) As I wore it a bit longer I noticed more of the woodsy amber notes combined with a powdery scent which got stronger the longer I wore it. Overall it had a clean, powdery and mildly woodsy smell, but to me does not smell like "woody spices" as the product description calls the scent notes. For how this smelled on my and my boyfriend's skin, I would not purchase this product (especially for the price point it is listed at). While I enjoy woody, spice, and amber scents I did not particularly like how this smelled. I would likely test other Prada colognes in the future to see if different scents worked better for us. It lasted pretty well and I enjoyed the experience of noticing different scents as I wore the product longer.
