Before showering, apply gel liberally paying particular attention to any built-up tan. Allow to set for ten minutes before showering. Using circular motions, use your Tan Removing and Skin Polishing Glove to polish away any dead skin cells and unwanted tan.
Precautions: Do not use on broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Avoid Contact with eyes. Carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. If irritation occurs, stop use and consult a doctor. This product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. This product may discolor so avoid contact with fabrics, furnishings & hair. Store under 86 degrees F.

I left this on my neck and chest for 20 minutes to correct a very splotchy crocodile spray tan. I took a shower and used a soft scrubber and when I came out the tan was gone. Worth it! Very light pleasant scent.

Didn't do much, aggressive fragrance
The product didn't do anything more than basic exfoliation accomplishes (and since the instructions are to let the product sit and then exfoliate, I'm guessing that had more to do with the minimal result I got). It's also intensely perfumed, so if you are not a fan of added fragrance, definitely steer clear. I had more luck just putting lemon juice on my skin and letting it sit for a few minutes.
