Overall, I would recommend this product if only for the extremely reasonable price and the fact that I do like the look of it. Based off my results, it would be ideal when you want the look of a lip gloss that enhances your lip color but isn't pigmented. I have very fair skin and chose the peach o...ne which is clear in the tube although it still is supposed to adjust to your pH. Whenever I put any gloss or lip oil on, it does make my lips a little brighter and pinker so I was expecting a more dramatic response with this product. Because I didn't notice much difference, I compared side by side with Ulta's juice lip oil that doesn't adjust to your pH. There was a very slight but noticeable difference with the J.Cat side being a deeper pink. I will be curious to see if other people only see slight pH alterations as well or if the other color options produce different results! Texture-wise, the two products are similar although I would say that J.Cat is a little thinner and less sticky. J.Cat's peach scent is very subtle, a little artificial, but still pleasant. The J.Cat applies with a thin but firm plastic wand that I haven't seen in any other lip products before. Maybe so it doesn't absorb the product? Not my favorite application method but not bad. The tube is long and thin with fun holographic wording that feels high quality so A+ for packaging! It would be 5 stars if the pH alteration was a little more noticeable although that could just be me and my light coloring.
