Straightening from wet:
• Start with towel-dried hair and select Wet mode. Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
• Lock arms and rough dry the roots.
• Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature. Straighten and style damp hair in sections.
Straightening from dry:
• Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style. Select desired airflow and temperature, Boost mode is available if required.

If I could give zero stars, in fact, minus five stars, I would. Truly the most awful customer service I have ever received. I ordered the straightener on December 24th along with a vacuum. The Vacuum came within a week, the straightener never showed up. I chatted with my first customer service agent...

Definitely LOVE and recommend!!!
I just bought this on black friday as someone whos wanted it for about a year but never wanted to pay almost $600. The technology and build with this device is insane and you see why its hundreds, but I don't think you'll regret it- I finally caved when it went on sale and to say im obsessed with it would be an understatement. I am someone with natural thick wavy hair but usually dry and then straighten it, taking about 30 mins to do each. The Dyson on the other hand does both in one and my hair is dry and styled in 10 mins or less! Doesn't make my hair frizz, but adds enough volume so my hair doesnt look flat. Of course every hair type is different so some may have different results, but I would recommend this product to anyone who asks!
Excellent natural blowout for type 4 hair
I was able to get my type 4 hair from wet to blow out quality dry without a hair on the floor! This is so much better than using a blow dry brush! Once you get the hand placement and technique right you are golden. I don't find it heavy at all, its actually lighter than the regular dyson blow dryer. The key is using small horizontal sections on detangled hair. I had my wet hair sectioned in bantu knots with heat protectant and the setting on wet at 230 F . I diffused the roots with tension and then slowly glided my hair withe deyer clamped closed and everything got straight including my ends. If youbhave the money get it or wait until its on sale like me and use your ulta points :-)
It is not working on my wave hair
I taught would do like flat iron results but my hair puff up and frizzy. I just used twice and thinking about to return it.
Ulta does not care about us!
I purchased this item 3 weeks ago as a gift and noticed its on sale. I call my local store to ask for the sale price since it is sealed in the box and they said I cant to that. I would have to return the item, go run to a shelf and purchase a different one. Here is the kicker! Local store does not have one in stock and I cant just repurchase the one I returned. It will literally be sitting on the counter in front of me and I cant buy it. I have to travel an hour away to an in stock store. Either way I get my refund but why is ulta making it so difficult. im done with this company.
Worth every penny!
This is the most incredible hair straightener I have ever owned. The wet hair feature is amazing! I can literally dry/straighten a section of wet hair in one pass. All my hair can be dried/straightened in less than 20 minutes. On top of how quickly it dries my hair, it does not damage it at all. It is left feeling soft and completely frizz free. It is definitely not cheap, but so worth the price. I will never again use a regular straightener on my hair.
