Worst packaging ever
Opening this has been the worst first time use experience I have ever had of a product. You open the tin and you see paper covering the balm. You remove it, that is fine. But underneath, you get a layer of a clear silicone looking product, not the balm itself. You pinch it and you start removing it,...

Love the balm. Hate the lid which won't close properly

I love this balm. I purchased this balm for the 1st time 2 years ago, because the non-L'OCcitane all natural lotions, creams, balms I used added silicone, preservatives (irritants), etc., which clogs my pores. I ordered the smallest size to try it out and because reviewers said they order the small size because lid doesn't close all the way causing the balm to spoil. I kept the balm in the fridge after opening it because the lid doesn't completely, firmly, securely close. And the balms lasted two years in the fridge. I apply a thin layer over a Japanese liquid lotion.

This is the best balm especially for problem areas. I would not recommend the larger size unless you use a lot of product. The normal size is perfect and portable. A little goes a long way and can be used anywhere: lips, heels, hands…..
Why does it get so sticky so quickly?

I love the product but can't use it as fast as it "goes bad". I will buy the small one, NOT the large one, in the future. It's a great product but you only have a couple of months to use it.

Maybe a bad/old batch?! But mine is perfect. No grit feeling. Very smooth and leaves my skin smooth overnight and long into the next day. Smells very light but nice also.

I received this product as part of an Advent calendar gift. While I love everything else in the bundle, the Le Petit Remede is extremely sticky. I tried to scoop some out for my hands, but it is way too sticky to apply and left me sticking to everything. I had to wash it off.
