I love this lavender mint line. I recieved the gel, moisture milk, and taming creme as samples from Ulta and was so impressed I bought the full size versions. I have fine hair that can range from wavy to S curls. I use the moisturizer milk on very wet hair and brush through. Next I add the taming creme and brush that in as well. I then apply the gel with "praying hands" , scrunch it in with a microfiber towel then plop for 30 mins before allowing my hair to finish air drying. A quick shake at the roots when my hair is dry and my curls are near perfect! I have never had luck getting my curls to clump but this product (or a combo of the 3) produces clump without any effort from me. There never is any crunch to scrunch out but yet still produces very nice and frizz free curls. This surprises me because I live in a humid climate and have always assumed the crunchier the better for frizz taming. I use all 3 of the products together and love them!! My new fav hair care line!
I recently bought this gel along with the shampoo and conditioner because the girl that dyed my hair used and suggested it for my curly hair. After using it for about 3 weeks I'm realizing it's causing my face, neck and back to break out really bad! At first I thought maybe it was because of my period but no, it continues to break out and has gotten worse. I'm hoping I can return it. It does smell great and did a pretty good job with my hair but I cannot keep using something that's doing this to me. I'm not sure what's in here that would cause it but if you have sensitive skin very careful.

Great gel for curls of all kinds. I have medium/course curls and this gel keeps my curls in place and hair stays soft and touchable. LOVE IT!

I have thin and extremely fine 2A/2B hair that tends to get oily quickly. I almost always air-dry my hair with just some scrunching to encourage the curl. I've been looking for a product that helps define the curls and has just enough hold to keep the "scrunch" from falling out while it dries. The vast majority of products I've tried either make my hair stiff and crunchy or are too moisturizing and end up leaving it greasy and stringy. I've only used this gel for about a week, but I'm in love! I can definitely see this not doing much for thicker/coarser hair, but for my baby-fine hair, the light touch is perfect! It does have a strong lavender scent at first, but it dissipates almost immediately and doesn't stick around in your hair. I haven't noticed it drying my hair out at all, or causing any kind of weird texture or residue. If you struggle to find a curl product for super-fine hair, try this out!!

I have wavy/curly hair and have tried just about all curl products out there. This gel is nice and light weight; it keeps the frizz down while defining my curls and not weighing them down!

After I wash and condition, I add a generous amount of this gel to my hair and scrunch it, to give shape to the curls/waves.When air dry, I comb it with a pick. Hair has volume and shine. The gel tames the frizz. The lavender scent is a bit stronger than I would like, but I am getting used to it.

I have thick, dry, hair that needs quite a bit of product to get the control I want. The problem is, that often leaves me with nasty white flaking that makes me look like I have a dandruff problem instead of pretty curls. This stuff goes on very easy and doesn't leave a residue on in my hair. I don't need to scrunch out a crunch with this, and is really air-dry friendly where I feel like I still get definition without much effort.

I have coarse thick hair with medium density. Also low porosity. I have had great results with this gel. I follow the curly girl method and this has been my favorite gel so far. Light to medium hold which is perfect for my 2b waves-3a curls. I haven't gotten a cast with it but my hair normally doesn't cast.
I love the smell and I've found that I can dry or damp style with this. I can also be heavy handed without my hair looking gross. Definitely worth buying it!

Returned it. It did nothing for my wavy hair. No hold or definition.

My hair went curly and my stylist suggested this for my hair. It's amazing. Smells amazing. Is so light and moisturizing. Doesn't leave your hair gross the next day either.

I got this product as a sample from Ulta and tried it and loved the way my curls turned out after diffusing my hair and it's not too thick and it was easy to apply. I also loved that it didn't leave my hair feeling hard.

I have started wearing my hair naturally curly for the past year (after straightening it for basically the last 30 years) and it's been so frustrating trying to find a product that works for my hair! My hair is very very thick and frizzy. I haven't written a review for any of the products I've purchased in the last year, but I had to write about this one. It makes my hair so soft, perfect curls, and NO frizz! It stinks that it's a little expensive, but it's worth it. This is my new go to for perfect hair.

Great product. My hair is more controllable and I didnt have a 'halo' of dry ends.

it's good for my curls! It's not "too much" like some other gels! Smells so good! 💕

Has a great slip and a nice hold. Best if used after shower before towel wrapping. Left my curls so plumped!

I have started the Curly Girl method and so far, this gel is the one that works the best for me. I use it in two different ways: 1) scrunched into sopping wet hair in the shower 2) at night, watered down, scrunched in before I put on a silk wrap to help hold everything in place
