CoverGirl Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara

Ive never tried this one before until this week. Brsnd new and the product feels very dry already like its very old or it may just be the formula. The brush doesnt allow for my entire lash to get coated in product even aftet muktiple costs. It doesnt add any volume at all to my lashes. I would not recommend this to anyone or repurchase in the furture.

I will say that this mascara holds a curl pretty well in my opinion, especially if you apply RIGHT after curling. It does not hold a curl perfectly, but it falls very little that most wont notice unless you are picky about lashes. Biggest grievance is that getting length is HARD sometimes. Its very inconsistent. Some days it glides on perfectly with no clumps, and other days its a delicate balance of having to apply multiple layers to get mediocre length while trying not to clump my lashes. Clumping is only really an issue with multiple applications, if you can get away with one application then you can avoid this issue. But unfortunately, most days i need multiple layers for length. Also VERY hard to remove. Waterproof shouldnt mean that it defies makeup remover. I have to scrub hard with micellar water on a cotton pad, which leaves my eye raw and burning, and it takes two pads (both sides) on each eye, which in turn, wastes my other products. Theres some transfer under the eyes too, even with setting spray and letting it dry before closing your eyes. Its not horrid, and its not too big a deal for me since i wear glasses, but it is noticeable otherwise. For the average person, this probably wont be a holy grail. But if you need something mediocrely priced rather than something life changing, go for it.

Im a professional makeup artist and I am experimenting with diffrent mascras on different clients and I would not us this again. It's definitely very smudgey and I have tried diffrent mascaras of this brand and they are all the same. I have had to apoligize to several diffrent clients about this product. When I only put a few coats on its already clumpy. Covergirl you can do better!

Ive been looking for a brown mascara since black is a little heavy on me. This mascara is great for volume at the base, but makes my lashes fall flat and does not hold a curl. I also dont think there is a waterproof versikn of the brown. Cute for everyday wear but nothing extraordinary
