This body cream was thoughtfully formulated and it shows! I can't even begin to tell you how many countless body creams I've gotten over the years that have claimed to be ultra rich, and off the back of my head, a can't even name 1 that actually delivered that without feeling greasy or heavy. This b...ody cream genuinely lives up to its name, and then some in my opinion. Although the texture is what I noticed first, and what stood out, I must add that the big, frosted glass container made it look and feel high end! Back to the texture, It's like a thick whipped cream but melted into my skin, absorbing wayyy faster than I expected it to, especially since its formula contains 20% Shea Butter. There's absolutely no greasy film or sticky residue left behind after application and just left me with a smooth, silky finish and felt deeply nourishing rather than "coated" like others I've used in the past. The scent is AMAZING. It's a very light, warm, natural scent, so definitely not overwhelming in the least, but it amplifies the luxuriousness of the product. I should probably mention that where im located, it's snowing and sometimes the temperature is getting down to the negatives, and don't even get me started on how dry it is here. My skin was suffering from what I can only think to be a winter time eczema since this only happens in the winter, and I kid you not, this cream instantly nourished my dry patches and all my skin as a whole and by the next morning my dry spots completely disappeared! I have NEVER gotten that same result using any other moisturizer. I was definitely impressed by how long the hydration lasted and how gentle the formula is. My skin felt so comfortable and soft throughout the day, night and well into the following day. I felt no irritation or tightness at all and my dry patches never returned with continued use. This tells me that its not just working at surface level, but actually on a much deeper level and was supporting my skin barrier as a whole, which ultimately made my skin more resilient in some of the driest, harshest weather conditions. It's dermatologically tested and says it's made with more than 95% natural origin ingredients which is crazy because I guess I had this idea that anything natural wouldn't work as well on my skin, but this proved me wrong! This body cream is luxurious enough to feel like self care, yet effective and practical enough to quickly become a daily essential in my routine. So, with all that being said, if you've been struggling with these cold, dry weather conditions, and your skin is suffering with discomfort and dryness, then consider this body cream. It really does deliver comfort without compromise. You won't be disappointed, and as for me, I will gladly repurchase! I received this product for free in exchange for my 100% honest opinion.
