Would not suggest for thick hair
I don't have the worlds thickest hair, but usually my hair dries pretty fast with other blow dryers. This one is not good. My hair is left feeling rough in a sense because this blow dryer gives you 200 mph winds that are not hot enough. It just makes your hair look like a rats nest. Would definitely splurge on a hair dryer, this one is ok but I threw it away.

Had it for years
I was given this blow dryer as a gift at least over 5 years ago. Still my favor dryer till this day. I wear my natural curls and straight at times. It does get pretty hot but has not caused me any heat damage. I've used it with and without a heat protectant. 10 out of 10
Warm Strong Fan
For me this dryer does not get hot enough to blow my hair. It's like a warm forcefull fan. My blowouts are horrible. I returned the dryer.
