When used with the base coat & Infinite nail color (3 step ) you will have a long wear (at least 10 days) color with no chips or pealing. Make sure you let each stage dry and the last stage dry for at least 20 minutes. And start with clean dry nails with cuticles pushed back, do not cut or trim cuticles, this could lead to infection &/or rough hard cuticles.
Well, okay. I bought this because I ran out of my old top coat and wanted to try something new. I wanted something glossy and shiny. So I put this on over top of an OPI polish, and already it was like pulling off some of the nail polish, and my nails were totally dry. On top of that, this top coat made my nails less shiny than they were before putting on the top coat, which seemed kind of odd. Then the polish seemed really thick and goopy, so it didn't even apply super evenly. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because I'm not sure how it will wear throughout the week. I'm usually someone who paints their nails every time it starts to chip, so we'll see.

This is the perfect way to protect fresh nail polish. It has a great shine and keeps nails looking great longer.

This was the third step in my freshly painted manicure and just ruined all of my work! It went on shiny and turned to satin matte within seconds. I quickly went to find reviews to see if it was a fluke or if I did something wrong. Nope, looks like tons of other people have been let down in the same way. To say I'm upset is an understatement! OPI needs to remove this junk from their product line immediately.

I bought the package with both base and top coat for Infinite Shine. Bought many of the Infinite Shine polishes. When used together I get nothing but chips and edge wear within a day. When I use the Start To Finish, I get much better results with the Infinite Shine polish.

This is definitely not infinite shine. It makes my freshly painted nails very dull. I will return.

Bought this in store and it took all the shine away and made my nails like dull. Not very happy with that.

This whole line in general is super thick and goopy and sticky. Once I put the top coat on the nail polish literally ripped after 10 minutes after it being applied. It doesn't dry down. Super disappointing

I used this base coat with the OPI Infinite Shine primer. I used an Essie nail varnish. My manicure lasted chip-free for five days, which for me is a decent amount of time as I like to give myself a fresh manicure once a week.

I did not get to step 3 as unhappy with Step 2 of OPI Infinite Shine

When I paint my nails I tend to get little chips, scratches, and bubbles on them while they're drying and this top coat smooths them all out! 4 stars because it doesn't really keep nails from chipping any more than any other top coat but I still love the way it erases all my little mistakes

I know it's just a top coat, but I had to rate it b/c I'll be returning it and I want to save you the trouble of a bad buy!

This top coat is definitely not infinite shine. As soon as I use it it turns the shiny color to matte. So dissatisfied

I was expecting a nice gloss to go over my French pedicure. If it wasn't part of a special I would be very disappointed. Better off getting a basic top coat from the hair store they perform better

This shine has kept my polish on for about a week now and it just started to chip. So glad I chose this polish!

Love OPI products and this one tops all. Use over even cheap polish to help last.

I'm liking the Infinite Shine line. I have a couple of non-IS colors and it also works well. I do get lift at the end of the week, but I'm changing the color by then anyway. The topcoat is nice and firm. If I keep the color layers reasonable and not too thick, this behaves almost exactly like a cured gel. It's great for quick changes in nail art/looks. I'm not very experienced with nail art, but this design (hopefully the pic uploaded) came out pretty good!

Disappointed this top coat comes out as matte. Original top coat is the only way to go.

Not a good option if you want your nail polish to shine. This top coat is like a matte top coat that gives solid colors a matte look and makes other type of nail polishes look very dull and weird. I've tried it with shimmer polish, multi chrome polish, holo polish, glitter polish and it doesn't deliver the infinite shine it promises. I've also tried it with step 1 and step 2 shimmering polishes like (worth a pretty penne, throw me a kiss, you're full of abalone, this color hits all the high notes) and it makes them all look dull. I followed the order of steps and stayed in the same nail polish brand line and it just doesn't match up with other top coats. Just go for the original OPI top coat if you're looking for a glossy finish you'll be much happier. Other wise this is a good matte top coat that evens out nail polish, and doesn't leave any streaks behind, and dries out really quickly.

This is the worst top coat. It actually takes the shine away from my nails and makes them look dull.

It makes my nails look shiny the way I like them

This appears to have base coat in it. Very disappointed. I have bought several. When this hit my polish, it almost reacted to it, and made a matte speckled finish. Will have to try and return. Have never had this happen almost appears to be a base coat.

This is an absolute NEED on top of the base coat if you are using the Infinite Shine line of nail polishes. Can not skip a step , or multiple coats , because the polish itself is So Thin , its almost impossible to get on without streaking. This seals it , and evens out the paint a bit. I bought 100s of them before even really mastering the art of not coming out looking like a 2 yr old painted your nails ; they might even look better. I am convinced that what the consumer buys , and what a nail salon gets ; are 2 different formulas , because I've watched my manicurist put it on since it was launched , and it was never so thin it streaks , and requires to be globbed on, or 5 coats of perfection for it to look great.. It may just need more practice, and a steadier hand than other polishes too; other than that , it does last longer , and less likely to chip over time , if you are patient enough to get it on right...

I use this product to finish off my manicured polished nails. This helps me keep nails polished longer

I bought steps 1 and 3 and several step 2's. I used it a few times now and loved it but the last application after step 3 turned out very dull. I had to check the step 2 to see if it was a different kind. I was thinking it was matte that is how dull it turned out. After reading the reviews I see I am not the only one. I will still continue to use but maybe put a different top coat over this step 3 and see what that does.
