L.A. Girl Hydrating Sheer Tint Lip Balm

this stuff is amazing, please don't ever stop making it or carrying it! I got 4 different colors. The colors are sheer enough to wear everyday, but provide enough color to make my look feel complete. goes on smooth, not sticky. it does feel a bit tingly, so if that's something you don't like, I would advise against this product. I love the slight tingle though! the 4 I got smell amazing! I love that I can just swipe it on as needed and stash it in my bag or my pocket; no mirror needed. so easy! plus the price point is AMAZING!!! I will definitely be buying more of these!!!

I did not like the burning feel when applied which is too bad because it's smooth and nice tint. Sadly I won't be using it so it's wasted

PROS: The price point was great, along with the amount that you get. The end result is a pretty darker reddish tint that is flattering for most that you can build with a soft glossy finish (not overly glossy) so you can dress this up or down. The twist-up motion is smooth, the cap stays on in my purse (and doesn't crack like some do), and I haven't had issues with the actual balm breaking off (it appears solid). CONS: The color is not long lasting of course (1-2 hrs I'd say). The smell reminds me of Watermelon Jolly Rancher, which I'm not a huge fan of, and I wish it was unscented (after all, it's lip balm, it doesn't need to be). I'm super sensitive to smells and I was able to wear it because the smell does dissipate. I couldn't shake the feeling of the weight of it on my lips (it feels thick and heavy). When you first put it on, it seems to be long lasting and moisturizing. But once that wears off, it left my lips extremely dry for the rest of the day. I even had to wipe it off with a wet washcloth. If you look at the ingredients, they aren't all that great; with petroleum-derived, artificial and others that even the European Union has strict standards on. Unfortunately, I will have to throw this away. I generally don't have good luck with any of LA Girl's products, they seem to fall short in ways that I can't spend money on.

This lip balm in the shade Black Cherry is the best lip balm/lip product I've ever bought. I'm one of the very few who do not like Clinique's Black Honey, but this gives everything Clinique was supposed to give for me. This shade is so flattering and pigmented—I even wear it as my daily blush for a beautiful and natural flush! I've bought 3 of these now and have turned several friends onto it who agree it's incredible. Please don't ever stop making this balm/shade!

I was about to buy a similar product for $40 but last minute switched to this one. and WOW! I am so glad I did. I went out to my car, put it on, walked back inside and bought 2 more of the exact same shade!!! (sheer nude) The "weird" "tingling" sensation people are talking about is just mint! It's actually really lovely and refreshing imo. PLEASE, L.A. GIRL, Never get rid of this product!!!
