Q
I have color treated, thinning, curly hair. Which is the best line to use?
Asked by Lynn
Official Answer By Innersense Organic Beauty - Brand Engage
Hi there! The Hydrating Cream Hairbath is perfect for thirsty, color treated and coarse textured hair. It delivers the most hydration of the hairbaths in the line, utilizing raw Shea Butter and Monoi Oil. If you have color treated and curly hair with a coarser texture - this would be perfect! If you have more fine to medium textured hair, I would recommend the Color Awakening Hairbath, as it won't weigh your hair down but still offers a gentle cleanse with nourishment. Hope this helps! Sending you lots of hair love! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Which products should I use on my hair? I have thin hair, but a lot of it, and I bleach it.
Asked by Bleach blonde
Official Answer By Innersense Organic Beauty - Brand Engage
Hi there! Since you have thin, color treated hair you can definitely use that Pure Harmony Hairbath for your hair. You can also use the Color Awakening Hairbath which is perfect for color treated hair. You can always add the Sweet Spirit Leave In Conditioner to boost hydration and refresh your hair in between wash days. Hope this helps - Sending you lots of hair love! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this a heavy protien line?
Asked by Christine
Official Answer By Innersense Organic Beauty - Brand Engage
Hi there! Innersense products are formulated with zero synthetics and only plant-based protein free of salts, so they are without the side effects of overuse and becoming 'heavy'. As we are a cruelty-free hair care line, we choose plant-based hair protein over animal protein, like hydrolyzed rice and quinoa, these proteins are nourishing, replenishing, and lightweight. The animal proteins in hair care products you may have used in the past are heavy and fatty and often weigh hair down. Hope this helps! Sending you lots of hair love! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
which shampoo is best for color treated hair that is a bit dry?
Asked by con
Official Answer By Innersense Organic Beauty - Brand Engage
Hi there! I would recommend the Color Awakening Hairbath for your color treated hair that needs a little moisture without weighing your hair down. Pure Harmony could work if you have fine hair, but you could also use our Color Awakening Hairbath and Color Radiance Conditioner. Hope this helps! Sending you lots of hairbath! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
I have fine, straight hair looking for a hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Is this a good option for me?
Asked by Paige
Official Answer By Innersense Organic Beauty - Brand Engage
Hi there! Yes! Our Pure Harmony Hairbath is a perfect shampoo and conditioner duo for fine and straight hair. You can always add in our Sweet Spirit Leave In Conditioner if you need some more hydration at the ends. But the Pure is best for fine hair. You can also choose Color Awakening Hairbath for fine and straight hair. Sending you lots of hair love! Was this answer helpful to you

This is a fantastic shampoo

I was first introduced to this line from my cousin, who has dense curly hair. My hair is fine, wavy when air-dried, and has finally grown back out to be beautifully virgin hair. I used her Innersense, which included the scalp scrub, her hair bath made for thick hair, and the conditioner. I fell in l...

Not the right products for my fine textured 2b curls

I really wanted these products to work, but they are just not the right formula for my 2b curls. My hair is very fine, there's a lot of it, and I live in a mostly dry climate. They do smell amazing, though! I was disappointed, but I can't really recommend them. Fortunately, I did buy several of the ...

Sadly, I was not a fan of this entire line

Unfortunately this brand is a no for my 3b/c hair.I purchased the wash, conditioner, hair mask and the styling cream and was not impressed. For this line to be so heavily trending on social media and in hair salons I was hoping for results that I saw online and by word of mouth from my curl stylist. The refresh using these products was a challenge and I've never had this problem using other lines. This line also made my scalp itchy, similar to an issue that I had with Deva products 6 years ago. It's a pass for me sadly.

This shampoo grew on me - love it

Was recommended by an Ulta associate for my sensitive scalp. I love it now after giving it a try for a while. Makes my hair feel clean in a gentle way and has helped my scalp feel better. You can tell its clean without unwanted chemicals and doesnt leave my hair feeling dry - just soft. Lathers really well for an organic and natural shampoo. Definitely recommend.

Smelly but Effective

This shampoo does work well for my hair but the smell is truly off-putting. It smells like a very clean gas station bathroom. If you're sense at all scent sensitive, skip this one.

Dried my hair out

Submitted 1 year ago

By Alison

From Denver

Hair Type Wavy Hair

I've never had my hair react so poorly to a hair product before. As soon as I used it and started styling my hair, I could tell that my hair texture felt different. It didn't feel smooth (though it could be the lack of silicones in the conditioner). In fact, my hair felt dry and completely stiff. Putting my hands through my hair after drying felt so gross, because my hair didn't have the normal cohesiveness and smoothness—as though every hair was rubbing against the other the "wrong way." Needless to say, it looked terrible, and I had to wash it out ASAP. This product is clearly not for me!

Dried my hair out!

I got this for free with an Ulta promotion (with the conditioner) and was looking forward to trying it out. Almost immediately after using it, I knew it didn't get along with my 2a hair. When my hair dried, the texture was dramatically different than usual (stiff and dry) and didn't look good even after styling. I've never seen such a dramatic change in hair texture from the single use of a product like this. I checked my hair throughout the day in the mirror and it looked dry as straw, with random sections of hair separating from the rest. Usually I can get a week out of my hair before it starts looking really bad, but it was so weird and unruly that I had to wash it the next day. I switched back to my usual Redken, and my hair is still a little dry (though doing considerably better). I don't know what to think, but I don't want to try again because it was such a bad hair day. So strange!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
